The AirPods 4 with ANC are absolutely fantastic, earning a 4.5-star rating when we reviewed them. We were utterly impressed with the overall audio quality and just how good noise canceling is, considering there are no silicone tips involved to create that seal. Our testing found the buds deliver not just good noiuse cancellation, but also great clarity and volume when talking, while the Conversation Awareness feature really is a star as it detects your voice and lowers the volume automatically to whatever you’re listening to.
Battery life is also great, even when ANC is involved, delivering some 4 hours of listening time and another 20 hours when using the included charging case. With ANC off, you’ll get 5 hours of playtime and 30 in the case. The case can be charged wirelessly, so you can finally get one of those fancy 3-in-1 wireless chargers for your desk.
